Tom Ballard may only be 19 but he's racking up the accolades. Ever since he played the role of Blitzen in a local amateur production of Rock'n'Roll Santa in 1997, his has been a name to watch.
A three-time Class Clowns National Finalist and a RAW Comedy National Finalist by 2006 at age 16, Tom was offered a job on the national youth radio waves with triple j, where he now hosts Weekend Breakfast with his friend, and cohort, Alex Dyson.
Tom's debut solo show at this year's comedy festival earnt him sold out
houses, critical praise and the best newcomer gong. Never mind the fact that he is 19 - Tom is the most exciting new comic on the Australian scene of any age. His hilarious, insightful show about growing up gay in Warrnambool has announced the start of another exciting name in comedy.
