In 2010, Top Designs celebrates its tenth birthday at Melbourne Museum with the theme 'then, now and beyond'. Since 2001, more than 1,000 students have exhibited outstanding work in Top Designs and it has proven to be an important stepping stone for their future careers in design. The exhibition is a major component of the VCE Season of Excellence, managed by the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority. Top Designs features exemplary student design in a range of VCE studies: Design and Technology, Food and Technology, Systems Engineering, Media, VET Multimedia and Visual Communication and Design.
