Speaking on the record, Torren Foot said -
"It's still wild to me seeing Tinie & L Devine on a record that I produced, but 2020 is a crazy year, right?!! To have the opportunity to release a track with these two amazing artists is truly humbling."
L Devine added -
"I've been working with Tinie on a bunch of songs over the past few years so I'm so glad we could finally come together with Torren Foot and release something. It feels so good to step into a world of music I've never touched before. I'm a huge fan and listener of house music so it's sick to be able to show some love to it on this record."
The original version has already racked up over 6 million streams to date and was the #1 most played song on triple j. One of Mistajam's Future Anthems; the single has had props by the likes of Pete Tong, Danny Howard and Joel Corry and has already been added to both the KISS Fresh and KISS Dance playlists.

Interview with Torren Foot
Question: How would you describe your music?
Torren Foot: It's house music, that draws influence from hip hop and RnB. It could be something as obvious as a sample, or subtle as a drum machine, but the end result is always a dance floor centric record with throws to hip hop.
Question: Can you tell us about More Life?
Torren Foot: More Life started as a club record, the hero being the infamous Lafayette Afro Rock Band's 'Darkest Light' sample. It made its way around the festivals and Nightclubs of the world, and has somehow ended up with a couple of heavy Hitting features on it!!
Question: Tell us about working with Tinie and L Devine?
Torren Foot: It was quite a surreal experience. Tinie is someone I've aspired to work with for a very long time, and L is such a prodigious talent. It was such a fluid process, both Tinie & L were both on the same page stylistically, and it came together really easily.
Question: Is it tough to collab during Covid-19?
Torren Foot: I really love being in the studio with someone when I'm collaborating with them, because there's a definite energy when two people are creating together. In saying that, the restrictions Covid has placed on the creative industry, has meant we've had to adjust our thinking, and people have become a lot more receptive to the idea of collaboration online. Through tools like splice and Zoom, you can be pretty hands on, despite being on the opposite side of the world to someone.
Question: Do you prefer performing live or recording?
Torren Foot: I love recording, sitting down and creating. It's something I do everyday, but nothing beats performing your music live. It's something I miss so much at the moment!
Question: What motivates you most when writing music?
Torren Foot: Motivation isn't something I really wrestle with. I happily front up to the studio everyday, it's the greatest job in the world! It's more what inspires me when writing music. I like to listen to a lot of live sets and mixtapes to try and consume dance music in context, and I listen to plenty of hip hop. Current stuff for enjoyment, older stuff for sample digging!
Question: Which music/artists are you currently listening to?
Torren Foot: I've been going crazing on UK Rap & Drill at the moment. Guys like Headie One and Dave. Every morning when I open Spotify, they're the artists I'm going to first.
Question: What or who was your inspiration to go into the music industry?
Torren Foot: Seeing the Chemical Brothers at Future Music Festival in 2008 changed my life. The energy of their show, and the way they communicated with the crowd absolutely floored me. That was really the beginning of my journey into dance music
Question: What was your first performance?
Torren Foot: At a pub, performing to nobody haha that's where a lot of DJs start, and for good reason. Playing those empty floors teaches you how to build a dance floor, and appreciate the moments when it's full!
Question: What's a typical day like?
Torren Foot: Firstly, brew a pot of coffee! Then I like to listen to some music, get the creative juices flowing. Head to the studio and work there all day, then try and squeeze a run in before dinner. That's my ideal day anyway, it usually gets throws out of whack though haha
Question: How would you describe your personal style?
Torren Foot: Simple classics meets designer streetwear. My uniform is Tees, Jeans & Chucks.
Question: What's next, for you?
Torren Foot: Looking forward to a return to touring, new music and working on my golf swing!
