Tough Mudder is today launching the Extreme Obstacle Design Challenge and inviting Aussies to unleash the mad scientist within to create the next fear-inducing, pulse-racing test of mental grit.

The competition is open to people all over the world who can submit an idea for a new obstacle which could be made into a reality for 2017. 

The winner will win return flights and accommodation in New York and the chance to work with the evil geniuses who make up the Tough Mudder obstacle innovation team.
