Anticipated to be one of the hottest products of 2011 the internationally-acclaimed uDraw GameTablet™ is now available in Australia, with products hitting store shelves around the country on Thursday 24 February 2011.

The uDraw GameTablet has been developed by leading video game publisher THQ exclusively for use with the Wii™. It combines a handheld drawing pad and pressure-sensitive stylus to provide a drawing surface that can be used to create pieces of artwork, keep minds active and play games - including Australia's favourite, Pictionary™.

Having taken the US by storm, with retail sales estimated at nearly 1 million units1 since launching inNovember, uDraw™ is set to be one of the biggest launches in Australia this year.

The uDraw GameTablet comes bundled with uDraw Studio™ software, a drawing, colouring and artbased program. Two additional games are also being launched today: a digital version of one of Australia's favourite board games, Pictionary™, and an exciting and interactive drawing adventure game, Dood's Big Adventure™.

The uDraw GameTablet is a modern-twist on the old colouring book, a one-on-one drawing and art tutorial, a social game of 21st century-inspired Pictionary or simply a fun activity the whole family can enjoy together.

The uDraw GameTablet™ is a first-of-its-kind, innovative new hardware device that provides an entirely new and entertaining way for kids and families to play on Wii. uDraw™ combines a deep and immersive level of creative freedom with a line of video games developed to expand gameplay and expression.

The device is a small white handheld tablet with a 4" x 6" drawing space and detachable, pressure sensitive stylus designed to offer more subtle control and precision than available on the traditional Wii Remote. The Wii Remote docks discretely within uDraw, allowing the device to draw power directly from the Wii Remote.

A convenient storage area hides the Wii Remote wrist strap and stylus when not in use. uDraw also features tilt-and-roll movement options, allowing players to interact and control in-game characters by moving and directing them through game levels.

Additionally, SD-card support enables players to save and print their artwork and other uDraw creations.

Pictionary™ : Pictionary™, the game of quick sketches and crazy guesses, has innovative new functionality and game modes for the whole family! In addition to great classic Pictionary™ play, new features include rotating canvases, one-line challenges, and other fun gameplay modes in a lively game show setting.

Dood's Big Adventure™ : In Dood's Big Adventure™, players will navigate their customisable Dood through 60 levels across four gameplay modes in a world where colouring books come to life and user-created doodles, characters and background art populates the in-game world.
