Could cars that hover above the ground become the mass transit of the future? Will we ever have druids like C-3PO in real life? Fantasy and reality join forces in Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination. This is the first exhibition to showcase more than 80 costumes, models and props from all six Star Wars films.

Winter School Holiday Program: Robot Roundup
Find out what a robot is and how they differ from other machines these winter holidays. Explore how robots move, sense their environment and 'think' in a variety of free live performances and activities. Then head over to the Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination exhibition to see the robots featured in the popular movie series.

Machines in Action Day
This is a unique opportunity to see heritage steam engines and agricultural machinery at work. Items on display include the Cowley Steam Roller, Cowley Steam Traction Engine, the only working Australian made traction engine in the world, along with the Super Sentinel Steam Wagon, the K.L. Bulldog Tractor and many others. The day includes parades, hay-baling demonstrations and rides on the model steam train with the Springvale Live Steamers.

New Lightning Room show: Amps, Arcs and Sparks
Find out how sound travels, how an electric guitar works and how we can predict the distance of an approaching lightning storm in this 30 minute electrifying show starring sound waves and live lightning bolts.

Mathamazing
Explore the mathematics behind everyday life. Mathamazing includes hands-on activities based on topics such as shapes, probability, sequences and series, puzzles, problem solving, topology and building.
