What's Hot for Hair?

How should you wear you hair on Saturday night? Should you die your hair? What colour should you die your hair? Is red in or out? Vanise Do of Glamorous Hair has answered all the tough questions, that are on our mind, about what is hot in hair for now and the coming year.

It is a girl thing to do- to spend ages on hair- fussing over it in regards to what colour, what style, and what cut. It seems that every season the style is changing from long to short or even more amazing short to long! How can celebrities grow their hair so quickly? Extentions!

Vanise Do is the owner of the hair salon, Glamorous Hair- at only 25 years old Vanise owns her own business and is an excellent hairdresser! Vanise was born in Vietnam, but has lived in Australia for the last 19 years. Vanise has worked for catwalk fashion shows and other top class launching events - so she knows what is in and what is out!

Why did you open your own salon?

Vanise Do: I wanted to further my business career in the hairdressing industry and be my own boss. So establishing my own hair salon was the next logical step.

It seems more and more girls are colouring there hair red (Alice Burdeu red) is red hair in or out?

Vanise Do: Red hair is always in fashion, it's up to you if you are daring enough to wear it, so Its great to see that people have the confidant to wear red as it is a bright fashion colour.

Do people actually colour their hair brown for winter and blonde for summer?

Vanise Do: Clients do seem to change their hair once the season changes but that's not something that you have to do, I guess its just a change for some people and sometimes having the same colour all year round or year after year gets pretty boring.

How bad is changing clothes twice a year for the hair?

Vanise Do: Well if you have the money then why not!?! No I think having a change is always good and we all change our clothing when it come to different seasons anyways due to the weather change so no its not a bad at all in changing your wardrobe for your hair.

What is the most popular hair cut for winter?

Vanise Do: Honestly, there's no popular hair cuts just because its winter but I do admit clients tend to want to grow their hair. So for example if a client have a Victoria Beckham hair cut (short concave) they would grow the hair longer to their neck line just so the hair can keep them warm instead of using a scarf :)

Up or Down for school formals and special occasions?

Vanise Do: That depends on the clients face shape and what they are wearing but its best mostly to have it half up and down. Think about it, you spend all the time and money in a salon to have all your hair pulled back, looks great for the evening but in photos that you would have for life... What can you see? Just your face...

What hair colour do you prefer?

Vanise Do: I like to work with all colours, everyone likes different colours so that's great for me that I can work with all colours in all areas instead of just doing blondes or browns or reds. That's why hairdressing is so exciting!

How can girls with thick hair create perfect hair?

Vanise Do: To have perfect hair is to know what the right product for your hair is. Using the right shampoo and conditioner down to the right moisturiser and styling products.

How can girls with straight thin hair create a perfect style?

Vanise Do: To use the right products to help create the look and style you want. Using a volume shampoo and conditioner can make your hair feel thicker and the right styling products will make it look fuller.

What is NIOXIN?

Vanise Do: Nioxon is a great product! If you are loosing hair genetically or by stress from exam or working hard, even pregnancy... this product is for you! Nioxin is a product that helps fine hair people to have a chance in having thicker hair. It also helps hair growth up to 50% faster, great product if you are trying to grow your hair.
