True rock n' roll doesn't require definition. It's self-explanatory based on a gut feeling and the unconditional devotion to the musical genre. Nashville Pussy have celebrated their brand of genuine rock n' roll for more than a decade, in classic style at times, surprising at others, but always earthy, raw and unadulterated. Band mastermind Blaine Cartwright (vocals, guitar), his wife Ruyter Suys (guitar), Karen Cuda (bass) and Jeremy Thompson (drums) spent three years working on their latest rock release, entitled From Hell To Texas, out on Steamhammer/SPV.

Jonathan Boulet

Booking:Moshtix.com.au or at the venue
Since his emergence in late 2009 with the dashing life-affirming micro-symphony that is A Community Service Announcement and one of the most promising, self-assured debut albums of the year, Jonathan Boulet has slowly but surely converted the masses through a series of compelling, heavy energy live shows.

His joyous explosion of a debut was a feature album on Triple J, the video for A Community Service Announcement was very publicly endorsed by the one and only Kanye West, and his first ever tour was in support of fellow Modular do-gooders Tame Impala. In short, an excellent start to a potentially brilliant career!

James Lavelle

Date:'19th-21st Feb 2010'
The James Lavelle musical revolution has gone full circle and that big wheel just kees on turning. Like the rest of us, it was the parental record collection that switched James Lavelle on to music, early Lavelle sets included the likes of Stevie Wonder and Deep Purple, an eclectic mix that was an embryonic blueprint both for James Lavelle as a DJ and for his label Mo'Wax; good tunes are good tunes the genre doesn't matter.
