The Inner West's largest annual free community event, the Burwood Festival, this morning announced its full list of entertainment. Sultan has earned a legion of fans playing his distinctive blend of country, soul and rock 'n' roll, becoming a much loved fixture of the Australian music landscape in the process.
Growing up in the suburbs of Melbourne, Sultan started playing guitar at the tender age of four and wrote his first song at the age of ten. Little did he know that years later his debut single would win Single Release of the Year at the 2007 Deadly Awards and be played on airwaves across the country. |

Antenna International Documentary Film Festival returns for its second year and will take place between the 10th to 14th October, in Sydney. Antenna 2012 will showcase over 30 feature length documentaries from around the world, film competitions, special events and international guests.
Over five days, the documentary film festival will share the creative talents of local and international filmmakers and allow the public to experience the best contemporary documentary cinema from around the world. |
