Belonging: Reflections on Place
A video installation by video artist Wendy Woodson and installation artist Kathy Couch (with sound design by Myles Mumford), Belonging: Reflections on Place features interviews with diverse migrants and refugees and members of their families living in Australia who reflect on their experiences of place, migration and belonging.

Another Country with Alfredo and Isabel Aquilizan
Filipino-born, Brisbane-based artists Alfredo and Isabel Aquilizan touchdown in Melbourne to create Another Country - a series of projects done in partnership with the Immigration Museum. Projects include:

In Transit
Bring along a significant object or photograph that evokes memories of travel and migration and join Isabel and Alfredo Aquilizan to create a display inspired by the stories behind these items.
Date: Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 November 2011, 2pm - 4.30pm (bookings required: ph 13 11 02)

In Flight
Construct a miniature aeroplane from a huge selection of recycled materials and contribute to an ever-expanding installation created by the artists.
