WILD LIFE Conservation Fund's WILD HeART

Experience Australian art amongst the animals during WILD LIFE Conservation Fund's WILD HeART anniversary celebration at WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo. Celebrating one year of operation on 6th November 2013, the not-for-profit's WILD HeART special event promises an inspiring and educational night for all.

Both local and international artists and photographers have created bespoke wild life themed art and have donated their pieces to raise money for the WILD LIFE Conservation Fund, a fund dedicated to generating interest, inspiring awareness, sharing knowledge and taking action to conserve native Australian wildlife. The pieces will be auctioned off on the night with all funds going towards conservation research, education and projects, which aim to ensure a sustainable future for Australian habitats and native animals.

With the koala, Australia's beloved national icon, at risk due to habitat destruction caused by humans, the importance of conserving Australian animals has never been more urgent.

The night will feature:
One-of-a-kind animal themed artworks from local and international Australian artists
Featured artists: Renowned water colour artist Wanda Stafford, award winning wild life photographer Angela Roberts-Buchanan, environmental artist Judith Price and Joel Sartore, photographer, speaker, author, and 20-year contributor to National Geographic magazine
