This winter the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) are brushing off the spell books and heading indoors for a series of magical films that will delight adults and kids alike these school holidays.

We kick off with a wizard medley - a free screening of four animated short films in one magical session which is sure to ignite young imaginations -simply titled Free Animated Wizard Kids' Flicks..

Then, on the eve of the release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince this July, we take you back to where it all started, with the chance to relive the cinematic magic of J.K Rowling's timeless tales of the adventures of a young wizard.

ACMI will screen all five of Harry Potter films across two weeks. Join us for individual sessions or take part in a movie marathon of spellbinding proportions! Over one massive day and night, die-hard Harry Potter fans can immerse themselves in all Harry's adventures to date. There are two movie marathons to choose from: Tuesday 30 June and Wednesday 8 July. Dress ups are encouraged - and that's not just reserved for the kids!
