Fantasy Guy

I'm 13 years old and I have a question to ask you) and I'm in love with a 15 year old guy. His name is Tom, and he's in the Theatre Sports team with me. My best friend likes him that way too. We talk about him quite a bit. He's nice-looking, musical, popular, etc. The only problem, of course, is that he's in year 10 and I'm in year 8. At the moment he's just a kind of fantasy. Should I just give up on him?

At your age, fantasy about sex is perfectly normal and healthy. That's all it should be for now as you have all the time in the world to catch up with the real thing. Talking to your friends and being curious is fine as well. Why shouldn't you keep enjoying your crush on this boy? There's no harm in it as long as you don't get too intense about it or worked up about the future. Take it for what it is and you never know, he might be interested as well and maybe some time, he will make a move. Even then, take it slow. You are at a terrific time in your life so don't narrow your choices too soon.
