Jay Laga'aia Come Dance and Sing

Jay Laga'aia is one of the most popular presenter's on ABC TV's Playschool. A father of seven, he has a natural ease with children and a genuine understanding of 'what kids like'.

Jay's first children's CD is a collection of self penned songs that focus' on the importance of family - the joys and the challenges.

One of Play School's most popular presenters, Jay has appeared on numerous Australian and New Zealand TV series such as McLeod's Daughters, Water Rats, and Xena Warrior Princess. Jay's film credits include Star Wars Ep. II & III and Never Say Die. He is also a star of stage having played the lead character in the long running production of 'The Lion King'.

Along with all of Jay's acting credits, he is now adding singer/songwriter to his resume. All of the tracks on 'Come Dance and Sing' have been written and arranged by Jay and his musical talents do not end there. All vocals on the CD are performed by Jay (including all backing vocals) and he also plays a variety of instruments on the CD including six and twelve string acoustic guitars, saxophone, kazoo, ukulele, harmonica and percussion.

'Come Dance and Sing' consists of songs that are fun and entertaining and also reflect the inspiration that Jay draws on from his family. A father of seven, Jay has a genuine understanding of what kids like and has a natural warmth and ease with children.
