A Walk in the Park

A Walk in the Park

Help Celebrate 10 Years of A Walk in the Park for Parkinson's

Victoria's largest community event in support of Parkinson's will be held on Sunday 26 August.

Now in its tenth year, A Walk in the Park brings together thousands of people to support, celebrate and acknowledge those who walk tall with Parkinson's.

Federation Square will come alive from 9.30am with pre-walk entertainment, including live music, massages, kid friendly activities, sausage sizzle and pre-walk warm-up

The non-competitive walk then sets off at 11am and includes 2km and 4km return circuits from Federation Square through Kings Domain, bringing together people from all walks of life - those living with Parkinson's, their family, friends, carers, and health professionals.

A Walk in the Park is proudly presented by Parkinson's Victoria, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people living with Parkinson's.

Every dollar raised by A Walk in the Park will help people with Parkinson's to lead full and active lives. With your support, we hope to reach our 2018 goal to raise $275,000.

Achieving this target will ensure we can continue to provide timely and valuable information, education and peer support services to people with Parkinson's as well as family members, carers and healthcare professionals.
