Combine death defying oral acrobatics with razor blades to making it snow on command, and you?ll be up close and personal with Cath Jamison - Australia?s leading female star of magic.
Having developed an aptitude for magic at an early age when given a magic kit to encourage her natural ability, Cath soon put her skills into practice by making the family pets disappear! Turning that childhood dream into reality, Cath enrolled at the Melbourne Magic School, graduating in 1989 and went on to study her craft further at the John Bolton Theatre School, graduating in 1995.
Cath is considered to be among one of the top illusion performers internationally, with a successful career spanning 20 years and a string of accolades under her belt, including the prestigious title of Australian Champion of Magic, awarded at the 1998 Australian International Magic Convention.
Entertaining crowds around the country, Cath has performed at some of Australia?s most prestigious venues and events, including the 2000 Sydney Olympics, Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), Parliament House, State Theatre Sydney and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
As Australia?s only female regurgitater, Cath is known for her fresh and edgy style including her infamous razor-blade eating act.
Cath will perform three shows for the 2006 Melbourne Fringe Festival on the 6th, 7th and 8th October in the haunting surrounds of the Wesley Anne in Northcote, with special guests the sexy dancing twins of Perfect Nonsense. For further information on Cath visit
