Abseil for Youth

Would you scale a 33-storey building in Sydney CBD in the name of charity?

Abseil for Youth is an exhilarating and unique annual event that brings hundreds of people together to abseil down a 33-storey (135m) building to fundraise for the Sir David Martin Foundation (SDMF), a not-for-profit organisation committed to supporting Australian youth who suffer from substance addiction, homelessness, mental illness, disengagement from society, abuse, unemployment and family breakdown.

SDMF do this by funding an award-winning residential rehabilitation program for young people aged 16-24, run by Mission Australia and located in Southern Highlands.

SDMF's Abseil for Youth aims to hit $280,000 in fundraising at the end of this year's event. Last year alone there were 243 participants of all different ages and fitness levels taking part.
