Alexander Biggs has found his feet in latest single 'Miserable', a gentle and considered rumination on the weight our sadness can have on the ones we love.
Since his second EP Whatever Helps You Sleep, Alexander Biggs has taken the time to contemplate what really matters as a songwriter and human. Biggs has delivered the first of many thoughtful yet visceral additions to his craft - deep meditations on the underlying sweetness in misery and the sadness in joy.
'Miserable' is a lunge into clear, glassy water, with textures that show a great refinement in Biggs' style of character and considered roughness. The juxtaposition of imperfect sounds against their neat layering have created a sound greater than the sum of its parts, something the artist is slowly mastering.
Alexander's songs have received global airplay on Triple J (AUS), BBC Radio 1 (UK), Radio X (UK), Flux FM (EU) and KCRW (US), and have amassed more than 6 million streams on Spotify.
The Melbourne creative continues to hone his live talents, with a myriad of support slots for artists including Evan Dando, Frightened Rabbit and Julien Baker, plus performances in the UK and South America. Alexander will make his US debut this September.
