If you think you've got what it takes to -snag' the title of 2017 Hot Dog Eating Champion, then Luna Park wants to hear from you! Melbourne's Luna Park is hosting its annual Hot Dog Eating Competition on Saturday 22nd July from 11am, to celebrate International Hot Dog Month.
If you think you've got what it takes in the speed-eating stakes and are partial to a hot dog…or ten, then Luna Park encourages you to join in the tantalising test of guts and glory and register your place in this year's mouth-watering -chompetition' at www.lunapark.com.au.
Thanks to competition sponsors Don Small Goods and Bakers Delight, there's no need to feel shy about grabbing a second helping - it's all you can eat - as potential champions go head-to head in a race to munch down hot dog after hot dog at record speed.
Presented by Superior Food Services, the competition will be fair game, with a separate male and female race - competitors must be 18 years and over to take part. The -wiener' from each competition will be dubbed -2017 Hot Dog Eating Champion' and will take home a prize of $500, a Trophy, plus an Annual Pass to Luna Park Melbourne.
