A premiere season, Are You Lonesome Tonight brings Melbourne audiences the wonderfully unconventional members of the SPARC Theatre ensemble and their responses to encountering both love, and loneliness. 

Channelling the glitzy era of the 70's Vegas Cabaret, Are You Lonesome Tonight promises a heartfelt mix of songs and stories… with a healthy smattering of sequins. Inspired by the ensembles mutual love of Elvis Presley and running for THREE SHOWS ONLY, SPARC Theatre have created a touching and powerful work, and if dreams come true, maybe (just maybe)… even Elvis will be in the building.

SPARC Theatre is a company comprised of adults who live in unstable housing. Many struggle to access their community, and for some members meaningful relationships are incredibly few and far between. The SPARC ensemble meets weekly to explore and develop drama, acting, singing, and other art forms.
