Brunswick's about to get a new afterhours-hang, with Barkly Square announcing it will launch an Open Air Cinema in December.
Nestled into Barkly Square's quaint laneway precinct, the silent cinema which runs 16 December to 28 January, will see an eclectic mix of family-friendly, arthouse and modern favourites, kicking off with the much-loved family favourite, Home Alone.
The Cinema is delivered by Blow Up Cinema, kitted out with state-of-the-art headphones, a 5m wide screen, comfy deck chairs and beverages available at neighbouring Zambrero and Jerry's Burgers & Fried Chicken. Barkly Square's Roll'd and Poh's Kitchen will also be on hand to feed hungry bellies.
Spirited ticketholders are invited to dress the part for Barkly's two Christmas-themed films (Home Alone and Elf) with prizes for -best dressed'.
