Life is too Short To Not Have Huge Dreams

Bianca is a 22 year old serial entrepreneur from Adelaide, SA who manages two Record Labels and an artist development company whilst also making her own music. Bianca believes life is too short to not have huge dreams and wants to help others chase their dreams whilst spreading the message that anything is possible with passion and hard work!

Interview with Bianca Nilsson, Founder and CEO of Renegade Records

Question: What's is Renegade Records?

Bianca Nilsson: Renegade Records is an Independent Record Label from Adelaide, SA although Renegade Records was founded in Adelaide it works with artists around the globe.


Question: What originally inspired you to start Renegade Records?

Bianca Nilsson: I wanted to give artists a platform to have full creative control and be 100% who are they with no restrictions, I want to leave a positive impact on the music industry.


Question: How did you develop the business to now working on a global scale?

Bianca Nilsson: Social networking.


Question: What difficulties have you faced as a 22 year old CEO?

Bianca Nilsson: A lot of people don't take me seriously but I just blow them off because my achievements prove otherwise.

Question: How has social media helped your business succeed?

Bianca Nilsson: Immensely, social media is the modern marketing tool and should be taken very seriously.


Question: What's a typical day like for you?

Bianca Nilsson: I work anywhere from 10-16 hours a day on business, artist management, learning, researching and creating. It's always important to have at least an hour of "me" time before bed which is usually green tea and a poetry book.


Question: What advice do you have for young entrepreneurs?

Bianca Nilsson: Don't wait for the right time to do something, just do it and learn along the way!


Question: Can you tell us about your current artists?

Bianca Nilsson: The two most active artists on Renegade Records roster are Matthew Cue and VISHISDEAD:
Matthew Cue is a hip hop artist from Dallas, TX we are currently working on an EP release and touring the United States of America. The first song from Matthews EP recently reached 100,000 streams on Spotify which is a huge milestone for us!

VISHISDEAD is a 23 year old lo-fi alt artist from New South Wales. We are currently working on an EP release and touring Australia.

Question: What's next for you and Renegade Records?

Bianca Nilsson: Hopefully world domination.
