Today the band have also announced two summer parties to celebrate the release of Feelings. The parties held in Melbourne and Sydney this December will feature Live Performances, Special Guests & DJ sets.
'Step Back', the most recent track released from the new record, was premiered on triple j's Home & Hosed last Thursday, while Seattle's KEXP featured 'Feelings' as their Song of the Day.
The album as a whole takes on a much broader palette of influences from past releases, ranging from shoe-gaze to 90s indie-dance. Feelings was recorded with producer Liam Judson ('Bliss Release' Cloud Control/ 'Hope Downs' Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever) and mixed by producer Shane Stoneback (Sleigh Bells/Fucked Up/Cults) with additional mixing and production by the band's new guitarist Mike Morgan. Feelings includes singles 'Step Back', 'Bring My Walls Down', 'Feelings' and 'Bug Eyes' which have already received critical acclaim from Rolling Stone, Blunt Magazine and Consequence of Sound.
