Due to popular demand, Brickman and TEG Live are delighted to announce that Brickman Cities powered by LEGO® CITY, currently at Scienceworks in Melbourne will now extend its run until next school holidays, closing Sunday 6 October 2019. The LEGO® phenomenon has captivated Melbourne audiences and is showing no signs of slowing down!
Selling out sessions since opening in Melbourne on June 15, LEGO® enthusiasts near and far have flocked to Scienceworks to attend the interactive experience created by LEGO® Masters judge Ryan 'Brickman' McNaught. Brickman's awe-inspiring models have encouraged visitors to discover the history of the world's greatest cities and create their own cities of the future.
Tickets to the extended season of Brickman Cities powered by LEGO® CITY are on sale from 1pm today at Ticketek.
LEGO® experience creator Ryan McNaught says: "I'm thrilled that LEGO® fans have loved Brickman Cities as much as we loved creating it. It's so rewarding to see both kids and adults immerse themselves in the experience and let their imaginations run wild with their own creations."
Showcasing the life and architecture of five of the world's most iconic cities – Dubai, London, New York, Sydney and Tokyo – from castles and forts to massive skyscrapers, visitors can trace each city's evolution all the way from 1000AD to today in a fun, educational and immersive way.
Brickman's fourth LEGO® brick experience, Brickman Cities powered by LEGO® CITY has been exclusively curated and built by Brickman and his expert team. McNaught is the only LEGO® Certified Professional in the Southern Hemisphere, one of just 14 in the world and is the official judge of Channel Nine's blockbuster reality series, LEGO® Masters.
At the centre of this new interactive experience is a 3m x 4m scale model of Lower Manhattan, built entirely in white LEGO® pieces with 3D stories of New York projected directly onto them.
Budding builders itching to get their hands on some LEGO® bricks can do so in the interactive master build zone home to half a million LEGO® bricks where they can build their vision of a LEGO® CITY of tomorrow.
More than 2,500 hours and 1 million LEGO® bricks were needed to build Brickman Cities powered by LEGO® CITY. Ryan 'Brickman' McNaught and the creative team spent a further 250 hours developing sophisticated 3D projections to bring the hero city of New York to life.
Don't miss out on travelling through time in the immersive, educational and imaginative world of Brickman Cities powered by LEGO® CITY. Tickets are on sale from 1pm today at www.ticketek.com.au
