Calvin Klein Jeans on a charity mission
Innovative CK fashion creations helping St Kilda's disadvantaged

Unique embellished Calvin Klein Jeans, created by unconventional artists during L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival will be available by auction at Sacred Heart Mission's fashion extravaganza STYLE MISSION 3 on Wednesday 27 July 2005.

Ten collectable pieces, created this week, will be showcased as part of the major auction for Sacred Heart Mission STYLE MISSION 3, held at National Theatre to raise funds for the Mission and its facilities.

Calvin Klein Jeans will be presenting the first of the Installation Nights at this year's L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival in the Euroluce showrooms on Wednesday 16 March from 9.30pm.

The 'terrarium' will feature two artists - Seven-Nine and Nails, who will be creating one-off collectable works on a limited edition of numbered European jeans, of which only 500 will be available throughout Australia and New Zealand.

The embellished jeans will be hung out to dry in a 'magic garden', then carried to a factory packing station for completion. Each unique piece will carry a Polaroid photo taken somewhere in the room, a fitting memento to a night of pure imagination.

The final artistic creations from the evening will be stacked for delivery in the front window of the showroom.

The procession from 'terrarium' to final resting place is to be carried out by a band of merry folk who are integral to the story in the chocolate factory.

A limited number of the creations will be showcased in Calvin Klein jean stores after the event.

The space transformed into a hybrid of the 'Wonka Chocolate Factory' complete with giant candy, a magical garden setting and the Wonka vision set.
