Camberwell Place

Camberwell's Sweet New Look

Free treats – sweet and savoury – will be on offer to celebrate the launch of Camberwell Place (formerly The Well) the weekend of 19th - 20th of January, from 10am – 3pm both days.

'Candy Place' has been designed as a treat wonderland, looking just as good as the sweets taste, allowing customers to get some truly insta-worthy snaps of themselves indulging in something sweet.

Featuring the likes of Instagram bakers Licked by Ray Ray and Sweet Mickie, as well as donuts by 17 year old Melbourne sensation Bistro Morgan, the Alice in Wonderland worthy Lux Bite and artisan lollipops by Sweetie Darling, the pop-up is sure to have something for every sweet tooth.

To score a free sweet treat, shoppers simply need to show a receipt for $15 or more from any Camberwell Place retailer.

And what better way to enjoy free food than to a great soundtrack, with a live DJ curating your walk through Candy Place.

The launch weekend event will also show off the talents of Camberwell Place's new kitchens, including plenty of free savoury samples from St Giles Wine Bar, Cone Heads and Just Italy.

The new food and dining precinct is a central lifestyle hub for Camberwell locals, adding even more food and beverage options to the district known for its cafés and Sunday Market.

"Having grown up in the area since I was young, it was always hard to find an intimate yet informal space that provided great dining and service," says Sean Cheshire of St Giles Wine Bar, "Since the dry area laws have changed, St Giles can now provide residents of Camberwell a bar and dining option they would normally have to have travelled to the CBD, Richmond or St Kilda for."

Dining gift cards will also be given away to the first 50 people each day, allowing shoppers to try out more of Camberwell Place's delicious new food offerings.

The latest information can be found on the Camberwell Place Facebook Page, or website.
