Brisbane based artist Carmouflage Rose releases his debut EP TASTE today through Sony Music Entertainment Australia. The lead single 'Let Me Down' Feat. George Maple has already received incredible support from media including triple j, who not only added the single straight into rotation but not long after the release, Carmouflage Rose was invited to perform the track with guest vocalist George Maple for a Like A Version , receiving widespread acclaim from their audience.

The tracklisting for TASTE includes Certified ARIA Gold break out hit 'Late Night's which has been streamed over 9 million times and received airplay in the UK, as well as follow up single 'Wildflowers' which is fast approaching a total of 3 million streams. Additionally both tracks have received Beats 1 radio support. With such positive feedback on Carmo's releases to date, it's no surprise that the new wave hip-hop artist is keen to share more of where that came from.

"TASTE is a glimpse into my world, it's a journey of my emotions from track one to the end. I wrote a lot of songs for this project but carefully selected the songs that felt more real and original. I loved working with James because we are always trying something new and having fun with the creative process...yes we may bump heads on sounds and drums but it works out in the end cause James can make anything. I also wanted to update the Aussie hip hop scene with some new global vibes and energy and to show the world that I am just getting started…I just wanna take the world into the future with this project".

Just like his previous released tracks, Carmouflage Rose has teamed up with frequent collaborator James Angus. "Working with Carmouflage Rose is always a great experience because you never know what each session is going to bring. He makes sure I'm always on my toes in the studio which keeps me engaged. Working on the Taste EP was a blessing because we'd already had such a strong working relationship over the last few years and to be able to put forward my own sonic identity and ideas on the project really allowed me to break new barriers as a producer. Don't get me wrong there were definitely obstacles and tougher times, but these always come with the territory of exploring new ground. Both of our styles lend to borrowing elements and ideas from all different genres which helped to create what I hope to be a diverse and fun listening experience. One only Carmouflage Rose can bring! I am very excited for Australia and the rest of the world to hear what we've been labouring over for the past year."

To celebrate the release of TASTE, Carmouflage Rose will hit the road with a run of headline dates across Australia and New Zealand during November. Joining Carmouflage Rose on what will be his biggest shows to date is new triple J favourite CXLOE as main support. Carmouflage Rose will play 'Grass Is Greener Festival, 'Spilt Milk' and Castaway Festival. In addition to his own run of dates Carmouflage Rose has announced Midas Gold and Xavier Mayne as additional national supports on the tour.
