Castle Hughes Moving On

16-year-old Perth artist Castle has released her first single 'Moving On' under her own independent label Castle Music. This Perth born singer-songwriter has been busking around town for a while, whilst juggling high school to raise money to fund this project.

During COVID-19 like everyone else, Castle had a lot of downtime. Her usual chaotic life ground to a halt and this pause resulted in a burst of creativity. She wrote several songs and was keen to bring them to life and share.

Moving On is song a bout the realisation that the end of a relationship does not have to be a heartbreaking experience, it can be a release. It's an anthem to better times and new beginnings, to the growth and evolution of the teenager. Moving on was recorded and mixed by Chad Blondel from Blondel studios.
