Darling Harbour Culture Beats

From live music and dance to distinct arts and cuisine, the cultures of Taiwan, Brazil, Malaysia, Lebanon and Japan will be showcased at Darling Harbour Culture Beats this spring 2015.

 

An ongoing celebration of Australia's cultural diversity, the FREE Darling Harbour Culture Beats spring 2015 program will operate on various weekends throughout September, October and November, when each featured cultural festival will be filled with plenty of colour, steeped in tradition and provide a whole lot of fun for all ages.

 

Taiwanese Festival
Be entertained by talented Taiwanese singers, dancers and musicians. Explore the market stalls and taste the dishes that have made Taiwanese cuisine famous. Plus, enjoy interactive games, rides and grab a goody bag!

Brazilian -Ritmo' Festival
Enjoy live music and dance while browsing stalls from Brazilian businesses featuring arts, crafts and souvenirs. Relish in Brazilian barbecue and feijoada stew, savoury pastries and sweets. Gather your friends at the bar to enjoy caipirinhas - Brazil's zingy national cocktail.

Malaysia Festival
Sydney's biggest annual Malaysian cultural event also known as 'MFest', the festival will include an assortment of authentic Malaysian cuisine, traditional Malay dancers as well as modern-day live music performances.

Lebanon Carnival

Experience Lebanese culture through performances by belly dancers, singers, musicians, and get swept up in the dabke, a Lebanese folk group dance. The carnival will also feature a selection of stalls displaying Lebanese arts and crafts.
