Darling Harbour FIESTA

Darling Harbour FIESTA – Sydney's biggest annual celebration of Latino movies, music, dance, food and culture – will be pumped full of fun during two weekends of FREE entertainment this October.

The FIESTA 2015 program brings Latin cinema outdoors and features some of the hottest local and international Latino bands, DJs, dance acts and delicious Latin soul food, at Sydney's ultimate celebration precinct, Darling Harbour.

During the long weekend (3-5 October) live Latino music will spark saucy outdoor dancing under the spring stars at Darling Quarter from 6.00pm, before FREE flicks from 'the best of' the Sydney Latin American Film Festival show on a big outdoor screen from 7.15pm.'

The FIESTA Festival will amp up the following weekend from midday on 10 and 11 October, when sizzling-hot modern, jazz and folkloric Latino music and dance will surely have visitors feeling the groove right across Darling Harbour.

Beco Latino (at Palm Grove): some of the best Latino DJ kings, contemporary bands and dance acts will perform live on an open-air stage, with a nearby pop-up bar and Mercato Latino food stalls selling mouth-watering tastes from across Latin America.

La Clave (at Darling Quarter): live Latin jazz acts will get the crowd shaking their bon-bons.

Tropicana (at Harbourside): swallow a fiery dose of traditional and contemporary folkloric dance as some of Sydney's premier Latino dancers perform live on stage in dazzling hot costumes.

Interactive Latin Dance Experiences (across Darling Harbour): Top Latino dance instructors from top Sydney dance schools will lead FIESTA revellers in cool Latin dance routines at various times throughout both days of the FIESTA Festival. Visitors will be able to download the dance-steps at darlingharbour.com to practice their hip-shake, sway and swing beforehand. All dance abilities welcome – so get ready to work it, bring it and have fun with it!
