'THEY'RE GOING TO MAKE A KILLING'
A new trailer for the black comedy DEATH OF A UNICORN has been released starring Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega as a father-daughter duo. The film, which has its world premiere at SXSW next week, Saturday 8 March, marks writer/director Alex Scharfman's directorial debut and follows Elliot (Rudd) and Riley (Ortega) as they accidentally hit and kill a unicorn on a drive to Elliot's boss' estate.
After trying to hide their crime from the others at the estate, they eventually realise the unicorn's blood and horn have curative properties.
The film also stars Téa Leoni, Will Poulter, Richard E. Grant, Anthony Carrigan, Sunita Mani and Jessica Hynes.
Synopsis: A father (Paul Rudd) and daughter (Jenna Ortega) accidentally hit and kill a unicorn while en route to a weekend retreat, where his billionaire boss (Richard E. Grant) seeks to exploit the creature's miraculous curative properties.
DEATH OF A UNICORN releases in Australian cinemas April 11.
