Lance Armstrong. The Rock. Steve Smith. Bill Clinton. Dilruk Jayasinha.
They all know a thing or two about CHEAT DAY(S). Sure, some more than others and of varying kinds.
Dilruk Jayasinha considers himself to be a bit of a foodie. The kind of foodie who could rank the top five fried chicken joints in every city that he's visited, or who would consider it criminal to go to Hong Kong and not try at least eight different servings of sweet n sour pork. Even if he only had three days.
So how the hell has this deep-fried double-glazed loving comedian managed to drop as many kgs as a contestant on a season of Survivor over the last year? Has he found a magic diet pill? Pilates? Pete Evans?
Not quite. Dilruk has discovered the cheat day, and he's back with a brand new show in 2019 to let you in on his secrets and most epic cheat day stories.
Dilruk Jayasinha has quickly become one of Australia's favourite comedians and while he got smaller in 2018, it was his biggest year yet. Dil smashed his first Melbourne Comedy Festival spot, sold out shows at festivals around Australia and even managed to bag the Logie for Most Popular New Talent.
Whilst his small screen star continues to soar thanks to his popular roles and appearances in shows such as ABC's Utopia and Channel 10's Have You Been Paying Attention?, it is on the stand that he flies, and he is one of the country's hottest club headliners.
His constant gigging means that Dilruk is always match fit – flooring audiences and critics around the country and in 2018 he went global with shows in Edinburgh and London's Soho Theatre, introducing Haggis to his cheat day menu.
His pants may be smaller but his popularity as one of Australia's comedy stars is as big as ever. You'd be cheating yourself if you missed this brand-new hour of hilarity and hotdogs from Dilruk Jayasinha!
