Question: What was it like dueting with Enrique Iglesias?

DJ Havana Brown: Not only was it my first singing performance on National TV, I was also singing alongside one of the hottest male recording artist of all time. It was extremely nerve racking, exciting and I loved every second. Such an honour also to fill in for the amazing Nicole Scherzinger


Question: Is he as hot in person?

DJ Havana Brown: Yes, even hotter! Not only is he good looking, he's also down to earth and a gentleman. So easy to get along with.


Question: What is the favourite location you've ever played?

DJ Havana Brown: I always love playing in my hometown, Melbourne, but Vegas is a really amazing experience. It is the ultimate party town. Everybody in the club is up for a big night and it's an incredible, crazy atmosphere!


Question: Where do you draw your inspirations from?

DJ Havana Brown: I create mixes that make me feel like hitting the dance floor. Essentially I love what I do and it really does not take me much to get inspired. I'm constantly researching new tracks, sounds and artists online and finding new songs that I love or that are somewhat different.


Question: If you could collaborate with anyone in the world, who would it be and why?

DJ Havana Brown: I would love to work with Janet Jackson, who is my ultimate Idol and also Missy Elliot. The mix of those artists would be crazy.


Question: Is there a particular song that takes you back to a memorable moment and what is it?

DJ Havana Brown: 'Stand By Me' by John Lennon. It's a song that my mother and I share. It reminds me of when I was about 10 years old. Young, naive and a time where life was so easy. Which is a wonderful memory.


Question: How do you get your night started?

DJ Havana Brown: Getting ready with my girlfriends, having a few drinks while listening to music.


Question: What's your favourite "girl's night out?"

DJ Havana Brown: I love staying in a hotel room with my girlfriends, having a mini fashion parade to decide what to wear while having a few drinks. We'd go out to dinner together at a nice restaurant before arriving at a club to dance all night long!


Question: Name 5 people you'd like to share a Ruski with?

DJ Havana Brown: Ricky Gervais, Janet Jackson, Karl Lagerfeld and a couple of my best friends.


Question: How do you keep fit?

DJ Havana Brown: I do not get as much exercise as I would like to. It gets a little difficult when you travel so much. There is the occasional yoga session but other than that, running to catch flights definitely keeps my heart rate up.


Question: 5 words to describe yourself?

DJ Havana Brown: Passionate, positive, creative, determined and hard-working.

DJ Havana Brown: Crave Vol. 5 features 3 CDs with a mix of up-tempo R&B, electro-house and ol'skool. Some of my favourite artists from the compilation include David Guetta, Taio Cruz, Ne-Yo, Swedish House Mafia, Lady Gaga and Black Eyed Peas- it's the perfect soundtrack to a girl's night out..


Question: What's next in 2011?

DJ Havana Brown: Lots of touring and working on my original music. Which you will hear very soon..
