DJ Khaled Major Key

Multi-platinum artist, music industry visionary, innovative influencer, mogul, mega-producer, and Anthem King DJ Khaled officially kicks off the first ever #EpicSummer campaign with the release of his highly anticipated ninth full-length album, Major Key on We The Best Music Group/Epic Records and through Sony Music Entertainment Australia.

Major Key, which hit #1 on the Australian iTunes charts over the weekend, will be available exclusively on Apple Music and iTunes before the album's physical release at retail on Friday, August 5th.

With two bonafide Top 10 U.S hits already under its belt – -For Free' (featuring Drake), and -I Got the Keys' (featuring Future and JAY Z), Major Key has just spun off a third single, -Holy Key' (featuring Kendrick Lamar, Big Sean, and Khaled's fellow Miami legend Betty Wright).  The album features appearances by the biggest names in hip-hop, R&B and pop as Khaled, known as the Quincy Jones of hip-hop and R&B has also brought Kanye West, Meghan Trainor, Nas, Rick Ross, J. Cole, Lil Wayne, Fabolous, Jeezy, YG, and Nicki Minaj onboard Major Key, just to name a few.

Earlier in June, Khaled revealed the Major Key cover art on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live! (after the Snapchat king - with over 7 million followers - volunteered as Kimmel's Snapchat instructor earlier in the year). Later that week in June came Khaled's classic BET Awards appearance and the exclusive premiere of the video for -I Got the Keys' on the Post-Show.  

With Khaled's vision, JAY-Z's legendary wordplay, and Future's otherworldly knack for a transcendent hook, -I Got the Keys' is a musical dynamo of downright epic proportions. Directed by Daniel Kaufman, the -I Got the Keys' video boasts cameos from some of the biggest names in rap and pop culture, looking their finest, sporting dapper suits, and exuding charisma and charm – including T.I., Rick Ross, Swizz Beats, Yo Gotti, 2 Chainz, Pusha T, Bryson Tiller, Fabolous, and A$AP Ferg, as well as Future and JAY-Z in a rare and much sought-after music video appearance. With this cast, narrative, and visuals, -I Got the Keys' is ready for the box office and stands poised to leave an indelible impact on music history.

Khaled has his own weekly show on Apple's Beats 1 called We The Best Radio playing Major Key front to back for his Beats 1 fans. Khaled also stars in two Apple Music commercials, one alongside supermodel Naomi Campbell, and one alongside the brilliant Ray Liotta.  Khaled is currently on this month's cover of Complex magazine. 

The exclusive release of Major Key on Apple Music officially kicks off #EpicSummer. As part of this campaign, Epic artists and music will be featured on Apple Music as well as on the iTunes store display online. In addition to DJ Khaled, the campaign will headline new music on a weekly basis from Epic artists Travis Scott, Big Boi, André 3000, Future, French Montana, Yo Gotti, Zara Larsson, Jidenna, Kent Jones, Blac Youngsta, Nick Grant, A Tribe Called Quest, Casey Veggies, and Candice Boyd.
