DJ Puffy enjoyed the sweet sound of success in Santiago, Chile, after spinning his way to the prestigious title.
After a scintillating 15 minute set at the Vélodromo del Estadio Nacional he was crowned champion by a judging panel including former The Fresh Prince of Bel Air star DJ Jazzy Jeff.
DJ Puffy was the first from Barbados to ever win a qualifier on Day 2 and progress to the final before making history for the whole of the Caribbean by actually winning the event.
After being announced as the winner, Puffy, 25, dropped to his knees in complete shock. He said: 'I didn't make history tonight, you did!
'It's truly a blessing to share stages with the top 23 deejays in the world, it has been an amazing and phenomenal couple of days."
Around 1000 fans went crazy to the beat at the World Final which also featured DJ Trapment from Canada, DJ JFB from the UK, DJ Beast Mode from Australia and DJ You-Ki rom Japan,
The result brought to an end four amazing nights where 24 of the world best DJs delivered their soulful and skilled talent.
