Emmagen Rain City Lights Call

Emmagen Rain City Lights Call

Hailing from Murwillumbah, Northern NSW, Emmagen Rain releases her debut single, "City Lights Call". To coincide with this fresh pop country release, Emmagen has signed to ABC Music via a digital distribution deal.

"City Lights Call" was recorded in Sydney late last year. Co-writing her debut song, the track was produced by Liam Quinn (Jess Mauboy, Guy Sebastian, Katy Steele, Thief). Prior to its release, "City Lights Call", held the #1 spot on JJJ's Unearthed chart for 2 x consecutive weeks.

As Emmagen describes the track, "I wrote this song because I have a feeling that there is an exciting life waiting for me in the city".

Emmagen began singing and songwriting at aged 9 when she first heard "Zombie" by the Cranberries and was over-whelmed by its music and message. In 2018, Emmagen won the People Choice Award at Tamworth's Country Music Festival Busking Championship and picked up the 2020 win at Tamworth's Coca Cola Battle of the Young Stars. In 2019, Emmagen also won the World Junior Karaoke Championships in Las Vegas. Emmagen has played live with country legends The Bushwackers and Amber Lawrence;  supported Andrew Swift; and been mentored at the Tamworth Junior Music Academy by Mickey Pye and Lyn Bowtell. She has also received mentorship from the likes of Ben Carey, guitarist for Savage Garden, Tal Bachman and Lifehouse.

Now as Emmagen embarks on the next stage of her music journey, keep your eye on this one to watch.
