Be amazed by a state of the art light projection show – The Northern Lights at Northland for one weekend only from Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th August.

To celebrate the last of these long winter nights, from 10.30am to 5.30pm each day, a giant planetarium will be popping up for visitors to experience the magic of The (New) Northern lights – minus the sub-zero temperatures and long haul flights to Iceland. Inside the giant planetarium, visitors will be taken on a visual journey through the stratosphere and witness a dazzling display of light and sound in the comfort of their own cosy beanbag.

Northland's Entertainment and Leisure Precinct (ELP) will be transformed into the ultimate winter hideaway complete with toasty fire pits, cosy beanbags, and roving entertainment for the whole family to enjoy. Plus, what is a magical winter without snow?

That's right – the unimaginable is happening and it will be snowing just 30 minutes north of the CBD. A friendly 'snow storm' will be hitting Northland's ELP on the hour, every hour between 12.00pm to 5.00pm.

For a chance to enter the planetarium, visitors simply need to shop within the ELP (no minimum spend required!) and sign up to become a Northland VIP Member will gain entry to the pop up for the whole family.
