Break breakfast boredom – new healthy brekkie options coming your way
What are the top three qualities consumers seek out when it comes to breakfast options? Taste, health and texture have to be right up there, and Food for Health's new Gluten Free Porridge and Clusters ranges have all three covered.
Based on Food for Health's consumer research in the health food breakfast category, shoppers are always looking for variety and have three to four different cereal type products in their pantry at any one time. That's why Food for Health has extended their breakfast range – experimenting with new flavours while expanding dietary options.
Food for Health founder Narelle Plapp said taste was a key factor for consumers when choosing breakfast options, but health and dietary concerns were also a consideration.
"Many people also like to have a number of breakfast options in their pantries for the whole family to enjoy, so it was important to add a number of gluten-free options to our range," she said.
"Creating products to cater for allergies and dietary needs is part of Food for Health's mission. The Gluten Free Porridge and Clusters ranges are suitable for people who are coeliac or following a low-FODMAP diet, but we have not compromised on the great taste that people love.
"For instance, the Raspberry and Coconut Porridge is filled with sweet raspberries and toasted coconut. Then we have the Choc Cherry Clusters which contains hints of sweet cherry and a moreish chocolate flavour."
As a business owner and mum of two, Narelle is always looking at ways to make healthy food readily available, convenient and no-fuss.
"I'm constantly thinking about healthy brekkie options for time poor consumers which is why the new Porridge range comes conveniently packed in individually portioned sachets.
"You can enjoy a low sugar but tasty brekkie in no time. Just cook with water or your milk of choice and it is ready in 60 seconds.
"You even have the option to grab a sachet on-the-go or pack it with lunch the night before, taking the fuss out of the morning rush."
The Porridge comes in two flavours: Almond, Apple & Maple Porridge and Raspberry & Coconut Porridge. The Clusters come in three delicious flavours: Choc Cherry Clusters; Cacao & Coconut Clusters; and Cranberry & Coconut Clusters.
The Gluten Free Porridge and Clusters ranges are certified FODMAP Friendly and endorsed by Coeliac Australia – the Clusters are also vegan.

Review: Absolutely obsessed with Cranberry & Coconut Clusters, while it may look a little like birdseed, totally love the mix and cluster combination that retains it's crunch with my almond milk. Exceptional tasty and very statisfying meaning I don't snack before lunch, that's definitely a win.
