Santa's little helpers are in for a 'treat' this festive season!

Tis' the season to be crafty with the German International School Sydney (GISS) set to host a series of deliciously festive Gingerbread House Workshops on Saturday December 1st and Sunday December 2nd.

What better way to embrace the Christmas spirit, then with little budding bakers and their families and friends spending fun exploring their culinary creativity as they assemble and decorate their very own handcrafted gingerbread house, man or Christmas tree made out of stars! Spend a few creative hours with your loved ones in this traditional 90 minute workshop, set to be filled with laughter, spice and all things sweet and nice! Now in its tenth year and growing in popularity, GISS is encouraging Sydneysiders to book early to avoid disappointment. Workshops will run at 10am, 12pm and 2pm daily on Saturday December 1st and Sunday December 2nd and will be jam-packed with goodness and laughter for the entire family.

Christmas enthusiast and event organiser, Kate Rouvray will support each workshop, sharing delicious tips and tricks, as well as inspiring participants in creating the most fantastical and scrumdiddlyumptious creative Christmas treat EVER. A prize will be awarded to the most creative house per session.

"It's the ultimate fun, family activity for young and old and as everyone will get to take home their edible creation, it will be ready to take pride of place as the centrepiece on the Christmas Day table. That's of course if the delicious dwelling isn't gobbled up before then," says Kate.

Bookings via TryBooking are essential for the 1.5 hour workshops which start at 10am, 12pm and 2pm each day at the German International School Sydney in Terrey Hills.
