Sony Music Entertainment Australia is proud to announce that New Zealand singer-songwriter Ginny Blackmore will release her highly anticipated debut album Over The Moon on Friday December 4^th, 2015.

The album features her debut New Zealand #1 double-platinum selling single -Bones' as well as the New Zealand platinum selling #1 duet with Stan Walker, -Holding You',  which was the #1 on the New Zealand Airplay Chart in 2014.

Having previously written songs for Christina Aguilera, Adam Lambert and Nicole Scherzinger, Ginny has now collaborated with award-winning, international producers Tricky Stewart (Beyoncè, Rihanna), Al Shux (Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Snoop Dogg), Rob Wells (Paloma Faith, Justin Bieber, Ariana Granda), Step Manahan (Busta Rhymes, Christina Aguilera) and Alan Nglish (Cee Lo Green) to craft her debut that she says is '100% my own flavour!".

Over The Moon is a bona fide Pop/R&B affair that combines the ultramodern feel of R&B slow-jams, which Blackmore loves so much, with her unmatched powerhouse voice.

'I made the album I wanted to make. I'm stubborn like that!" Blackmore says of the process which saw her completely immersed; from self-penned lyrics, engineering her own vocals and mixing tracks. 'It's my perspective on love and life, it's as honest as I could make it."
