Girls Day Out events will be held at Melbourne Exhibition Centre from 29th April to 1st May. Where over 100 top fashion, health, beauty, stylists and specialists, authors, superstars and celebrities, Olympians and innovators will showcase what's hot for women right now! Experts will also divulge some of the secrets of their success and host interactive workshops that are unique to this three day extravaganza.

Apply your lipgloss and get suited up, Girlfriends, because we're inviting you to experience an action packed day of female fun, frivolous adventure, entertainment and shopping galore at Girls Day Out in April.

Girls' Day Out offers a treasure trove of products, adventure and insights for the woman who desires to be balanced and shine in everything she does.

Our woman is sexy, sassy and has her own unique sense of feminine style and glamour. She is intelligent, wants to be informed and expects to be treated as number one. The modern woman today has so many choices and so little time and we are providing these gifts and surprises throughout a full day at Girls' Day Out.

It's about being informed, healthy and embracing a positive lifestyle.The event is divided into four distinct zones (and colours):

Fashion Zone:

Hair accessories - bags - footwear - lingerie - designer evening and casual wear - street labels - magazines - music - jewellery - models - photography - make up artists - sunglasses.

The Lovable Fashion Stage in the Fashion Zone

Will present heart thumping fashion parades all day. With new season ranges showcased: Lovable "Kissed" intimates winter parade will be launched. Pieno's Boutique collections featuring some of their labels including zhouk Smith & Miles and Studibaker are romantic, demure and glamorous evening wear collections will be highlighted.

Rave and Gidgets Beach Shack will strut their greatest clothing range.

Underbelly Dance will be the envy of anyone seeking a toned tummy, demonstrating their belly dancing skills on the stage.

Beauty Zone:

Cosmetics - lipsticks - powders - skincare - perfumes - nail care and nail art - body lotions - self tanning - cosmetic surgery - fake tattoo - botox - dental care - non plastic surgery face lifts - body shave - spas

The Beauty Zone inspires transformation and enhancing beauty techniques and professional advice and application will be offered by industry experts. The Lipstick Lounge in this zone will be an intimate, relaxed television style studio where guests can meet and hear some specialists in their field.

Leading eye care specialists, Bausch & Lomb have developed a break through product called PureVision - a contact lenses that can be worn for 30 days. An Opthamologist will advise on best eye care practice.

Live and interactive with the audience, the people from Pantene (Shane Henning, Award winning hairstylist) will test the health of your hair, product giveaways and questions and answers on all things to enable frizz-free hair

All round amazing woman and Ambassador for Fernwood, Lisa Curry will share her experiences, motivate and inspire women to be the best they can be.

Medicci Institute will discuss and demonstrate the latest in surgical and non-surgical rejuvenation treatments for the body.

Lauren Newton from Channel Ten's Good Morning Australia program and the Ambassador for Girls' Day Out will be interviewed on her interesting career steps, her feelings on health, fashion and working in television and maintaining a balanced lifestyle

Get a relationship kick start with Poppy Pavlides, Life Coach

Verve Modelling agency will be scouting at Girls' Day Out and presenting to the women who aspire to be a model, hear behind the scenes excitement and reality of this career step

Jan Roberts, nutritionist, pharmicist and best selling author will provide some spice to liven up your intimate relationships (Woman Zone product enhances sexual pleasures).

Lifestyle Zone

Fast and fabulous kitchen - cooking demonstrations - coffee - technology - education - recruiting - home and entertainment - kitchenware - houseware - home entertainment systems.

What does lifestyle mean today? It is forever changing and we are adapting with technology, choice and seeking delicious & time saving tips in the kitchen to the lounge room. The Lifestyle zone is the life of the party with tempting offers and a wonderful environment to discover gourmet food preparation created by celebrity chefs with the minimum of fuss.

Bart Beek (international celebrity chef) will prepare delicious Jalna Dairy foods recipes

Heydon Wood from the Liquid Kitchen will shake up some Girls' Day Out cocktails - alcoholic and non-alcoholic and reveal the ritutals of High Tea

Lisa Curry is a busy woman at this show and she will present Fernwood's new recipes and delicious cook book, Fabulous Food Recipes.

Channel Ten presenter, Nick Stratford and chef, Tobi Puttock (formerly with Jamie Oliver) of the new show, Ready Steady Cook,will delight the audience cooking up a storm of scrumptious meals.

The Energise Arena is based in the Lifestyle Zone

Fernwood's funky instructors will create some heart pumping fun with the audience who are invited to participate in their fitness class

Tasha Lawton, six months pregnant and walks her talk - specializes in teaching Pilates to pregnant women. She also appears in a new Pilates television program on Foxtel.

Underbelly will conduct belly dance and Afro funk classes in this arena

Fernwood Health & Fitness Zone
Organic skin and body care - breast health - weight control - supplements and vitamins - cycling - body sculpting - gyms - sports clothing - sports challenges

Health is not just a matter of physical fitness or good eating; it's also a state of mind, a sense of well being and wholeness. We aim to lift your spirits and energise your body with interactive demonstrations, dance and sports moves that will be provided by superstar dance professionals, Olympians and female champions.

A highlight in the Fernwood Health & Fitness Zone will be the guest appearance of sportswomen from the Australian Women's Soccer Team - the Qantas Matildas and the Qantas Australian Women's Netball Team will be appearing throughout the day offering tips and signing autographs. Qantas is offering event-goers the chance to win two $1,000 Qantas travel vouchers in the Qantas Sporting Challenge at the Event. Patrons will be encouraged to show off their own soccer and netball skills in order to compete for these fabulous prizes.
