To celebrate Australian Music Month, Eora/Sydney-based photography and videography studio 'Good Loco' have returned in 2022 with another helping hand to the community, providing complimentary dry hire of their studio to independent artists on weekdays across November.
Featuring one of the largest cycloramas in the Inner West, the studio is fully equipped with a diverse range of lighting gear, and is also fully fitted out with a make-up and dressing room, vocal booth, props on standby, bathroom, kitchen, green room with recreational facilities and a bar stocked with refreshments from ATOMIC Beer.
Good Loco Studio Manager Rick Bridgman describes the motivation behind the program:
"A lot of people think everything is back to normal for artists (and in general, that they all make bank), but honestly, that's not the case and it's still real tough out there; especially so for independent artists. To celebrate Australian Music Month, we wanted to continue to give back to our growing community and hope that with these comp sessions, artists can create some incredible, meaningful content and save funds for other parts of their career."
To claim the free booking offer, artists simply need to head over to the Good Loco website, click the 'Book Now' tab, select the booking type, preferred Weekday Date in November, follow the prompts and at the final booking stage redeem the coupon 'INDIE2022'. Artists are encouraged to bring their own camera operator(s) or alternatively, the team at Good Loco can connect them with one of the photographers / videographers for hire from their network.
Good Loco's client list includes the likes of ABC, SBS, Domino's Pizza, MILKRUN, Pat Stevenson, Billy Zammit and Jordan Munns to name a select few.
Rick continues "We've had everything from TV shows, live streams, food and alcohol advertisements, and creatives like Hayden James, Courtney Act, 1300, Hot Dub Time Machine, KLP and Dom Dolla come through to shoot content - so there's a whole heap artists can utilise the space for on their releases, or off-cycle."
Good Loco is the sister company to Artist Services Company, Good Intent, which launched in late-2018 servicing artists across artist management, PR, radio plugging, tastemaker club and radio promotions, playlist pitching, digital marketing, worldwide blogs and label services. Good Loco and Good Intent recently relaunched their Greater Good Initiative that gives over $20,000 AUD back to one lucky act from the independent artist community.
Current and previous PR and Label Services clients include the likes of BMG, Sony, Universal, Handsome Tours, Astral People, Chugg Music, Greyscale Records, Vicious Recordings, American Hi-Fi (USA), Bas (USA), Freddie Gibbs (USA), Pacific Avenue, A.GIRL, COTERIE, Bag Raiders, Gyroscope, Harts, Citizen Kay and RedHook.
