Hanni See Through Single

Hanni See Through Single
"HANNI will stop you in your tracks with this one (Undermine). Gorgeous sentiment and a winner of a chorus."
- CLAIRE MOONEY, TRIPLE J

"(Undermine) is a glorious rush of pop, synth with a touch of indie thrown in that will have you immediately reaching for the repeat button."
- WOMEN IN POP

Following stellar performances at BIGSOUND this week, breakout star HANNI returns today with her new single See Through via Dew Process. Following in the anthemic footsteps of previous single Undermine, the 20-year-old Brisbane based singer-songwriter taps into a euphoric catharsis that explores learning to not let her preconceived ideas of her last relationship affect her new relationship. It was produced by Thomas Porter and co-written with Hannah Brewer, the same collaborative team behind the powerful predecessor.

"It's about letting myself be vulnerable to someone new, someone who sees the real me and loves me regardless. For so long I had just stayed in a relationship that had turned sour because that is what I thought I deserved, and this song is a reminder that there is someone out there that loves every part of you - even when you feel see through" she explains of the song.

After being awarded a Queensland Music Award in 2020 with her debut single Wired, HANNI released her follow up singles Crazy and If All I Ever Did. But it was Golden Eyes that captured a global audience with over four million plays on Spotify alone, and landed on the BBC Sound The Best New Pop of October 2020 playlist. Since then she has opened for the likes of JOY., Haiku Hands and Boo Seeka, as well as a debut hometown headline show at Black Bear Lodge. Her recent heart-wrenching synth-pop single Undermine came alongside the announcement of her signing to Dew Process and saw wide success with the cover of Spotify's Pop n Fresh, and an array of media attention.
