A collaboration between long-time friends and Adelaide locals Surahn Sidhu & Omar Varts, Happiness is Wealth is a concept that challenges the conventional approach to music creation & production. Each sonic offering will come paired with ground-breaking visual material and limited edition clothing capsule as an immersive expression of identity and culture.
 
Move is the duo's first collaborative effort, originally conceived while Surahn was on tour with Empire of The Sun. Co-written with two of the most respected names in Australian music – multi-platinum artist Hayden James and award winning producer/songwriter Kaelyn Behr (Styalz Fuego) – Move is a fitting groove of contemporary electronic-pop produced through vintage equipment & techniques.

Move sets the stage for this project to unfold over the coming months. With a myriad of collaborations to come on all fronts including photography, tech, fashion, culture and more, expect Happiness is Wealth to redefine what art can be.
 
As a touring vocalist for Flight Facilities, founding member of cult disco act The Swiss, guitarist for Empire of the Sun, has written songs for Usher, artist for Future Classic and DFA and touring DJ for James Suckling's Great Wines of The World global event series, Surahn provides a heavily credentialed musical backbone to Happiness Is Wealth.

Previously residing in New York, Stockholm and now returning to Sydney, Omar's work with global lifestyle and luxury brands across varying disciplines and collaborations, together with fifteen years as DJ offers a contemporary relevance to Happiness Is Wealth's multi-disciplinary approach.
