Belgium bag designer Hedgren has announced the release of new designs across four of its popular collections that Australian urbanites, commuters and travellers know and love.

The exciting new pieces in the Pilates, Inner city, Formula One and Diamond Touch collections blend style with practicality and boast fresh, eye-catching designs and bold colours.  Among the new pieces are fun and functional gym and exercise bags and backpacks, elegant business bags, bright shoulder bags, stylish totes and modern travel suitcases.

The new pieces will be on Australian shelves in February at selected retailers nationally including David Jones, Strandbags and Victoria Station.

Inner City

The new pieces in the Inner City range include a backpack, handbag and range of shoulder bags available in bright prints and bold, fun colours including Molten Lava and Wild Aster. The handbag and shoulder bags are the perfect size for all your essentials when heading out for a big day or night in the city. Tired of lugging your old dull and dreary bag with you to the gym? The new Inner city backpack will put the fun back into your workout and ensure you look great in the process - no need to bring a different bag for your coffee date afterward.

Diamond Touch

This season, Hedgren is launching two new pieces in its Diamond Touch Collection in a feminine Mouse Grey - the new go-with-everything neutral and a strong contender to challenge the all-black look this autumn.  The Cindy business trolley and Bella laptop bag have been introduced in the new season colour to offer women an alternative to the sea of black business bags lining the store shelves. You'll love the detail of the quilted protective exterior and ingenious storage functions, zippered compartments and layers that will keep your valuables safe. Also launching is Adela, a statement black tote, and a must-have in every urban woman's wardrobe.

Pilates

The new shoulder bags in Hedgren's Pilates range are designed to accompany you from lunch to the gym, and every place in between. The fashion-forward pieces have a feminine flair, with one featuring a simple yet eye-catching Stained Glass Print, and the other in a bold Pumpkin colour-block design. Created to be multipurpose, these shoulder bags cater for those with a jam-packed schedule who crave a blend of practicality and style - they're casual enough for a morning Pilate's class and stylish enough to take to dinner with the girls. 

Formula One

Planning a European summer and desperately need to update your luggage? The new Formula One hard shell trolleys are sleek and stylish, perfect for the modern traveller. Available in a carry on or larger case, both sizes come in smooth Silver with minimalistic stripe detailing.  Not only are they guaranteed to be the most admired trolleys on the baggage carousel thanks to their contemporary, fresh design, but being made from polycarbonate – the same material used to make bullet proof glass - they'll also be among the most lightweight and durable.
