With an ear for fresh sound production, the dynamic and effortless stamina of Australian based Highup is obvious. No stranger to heavy bass-driven drops, electro energy and genre-fusing entities, there is no doubt that this heaving Producer and DJ is flexing artistic resilience and giving dance floors a reason to be rave-ready. From EDM explosives to a solid dose of electro-house, straight from his studio, Highup's name takes ownership from the club to the festival stage, while reeling in iconic stream counts across Australia, the USA and UK.
Signing tracks from continent to continent via: Sony, Musical Freedom, Hexagon, Revealed, 2Dutch, Nightvision Records, Smash House Generation, Spinning and Ultra Records, the Highup power has taken the solid beats of Electro House, EDM and club-ready dance anthems and created a synergy of vibe-inducing studio output. 'Disco Nights' a collaboration with Reverse Prime and Discotek just dropped, signed to Showtek and Marcel Woods' label '2Dutch,' with also a signed track on Tiësto's Label 'Musical Freedom.'
As an Artist, international mediums have wasted no time getting familiar with the Highup bass. The Gold Coast's premiere dance music FM station 105.7 Radio Metro has Highup on high rotation. His previous work with the guys on: 'Okay Okay' via Multiplayer Records drove a pumping spot on the ARIA Club Charts at #11 while also taking out #8 on Beatport's Electro House Chart. Before this, the Highup catalogue brewed: 'Listen Up', 'Kill the Game', and 'Seeing Red' that caught every club head off guard, gaining support from: Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Blasterjaxx, Timmy Trumpet, R3hab, Showtek, Fedde Le Grande, DJs from Mars, Morgan Page, Dash Berlin, Subliminals and more.
Highup also toured with Bombs Away after releasing their track together. The Highup sound travels with a racing pace and approaches the party with an explosive stance. Outside of the Club, his 'Seeing Red' Podcast keeps dance-floor devotees full, reigning in his choice of the most upfront tracks his party has on offer. With a flawless signature, oozing energy from every crevice, the Highup sonic force breaks boundaries like no other.
Like most touring DJ/Producers, the global pandemic cancelled Mitch's jam-packed touring schedule and forced him back into the studio experimenting with instrumental sounds on various tracks. He was able to work on many different tracks during this time (expect more releases throughout the year).
'Party' definitely had a vibe which would end up with Snoop Dogg's signature style and so Mitch decided to reach out to Snoop re a collaboration.
"There is always a silver lining and even though I'm not preforming internationally, I am still working hard behind the scenes, playing local gigs and getting creative with my brand and of course always working on music. Sony came to me with these awesome vocals by Snoop Dogg, I accepted the challenge and teamed up with 'Top 100' DJ Aryue to make this production." Highup explains.
