Jai Waetford Lost In You

Sony Music Entertainment Australia is excited to announce that Jai Waetford, Music Artist, YouTuber and Social Media sensation has announced his latest track "Lost In You", out now.

The moody and melodic RnB track showcases the now-19 year old's musical evolution, with the lyrics revealing Jai's vulnerabilities and emotional maturity.

Jai explains "I wrote "Lost In You" about someone who I met in a dark time that captivated me to a point where my life suddenly revolved around this person. When I was writing this, it was strange to me because I found myself involving her in everything I did; I was living for someone else".

"Lost In You" was co-written by Jai alongside Daniel Duque-Perez (lead guitarist and songwriter for The Griswold's) and Dennis Dowlut aka Deutsch Duke (Peking Duk, Flight Facilities, Nicole Millar, Set Mo) who also produced the record. The track offers fans & media alike a taste of what's to come from Jai, with multiple releases planned for 2018.

The release of "Lost In You" is complemented by a visual mood board, which can be found on Instagram at @lostinurl. This account is a creative visual accompaniment for Jai's music and will take avid fans on a visual journey, allowing them to view and hear exclusive content as it comes.

Jai's ever-growing online empire now encompasses over 170 million streams to date across Spotify and YouTube, and over half a million followers on Instagram. He has supported the likes of Little Mix and Selena Gomez, as well as embarking on a sold out headline East Coast Australian tour in 2017.

This year has also seen Jai come on-board as an ambassador for the Australian Suicide Prevention Foundation who are a nationwide, non-government, volunteer organisation focussed on providing an outlet for those considering suicide and their friends and relatives affected by such an event. Furthermore, Jai's recently partnered with the NSW Department of Education on their November 9th Event; World's Largest Mental Health Lesson Challenge. The event, to be held at Sydney Olympic Park and live-streamed online, will be an Official Guinness World Record Attempt and will be delivered by the CEO of Headspace, as well as featuring a special performance from Jai.
