Vocalist, producer and multi-instrumentalist Johnny Third is back with the intoxicating new single -Promises'. The emotive track is the Melbourne-based artists' third single of 2017, released independently via Third Time Lucky.

Experimenting with scintillating electronic arrangements and mighty bass drops, -Promises' layers Johnny Third's signature RnB-infused vocals over a flickering, glitchy beat. His production style draws elements from genres such as future bass and trap, and has been compared to the likes of Major Lazer and Martin Garrix.

On the conception -Promises', Johnny Third recalls 'The goal with this song was to write an emotional piece of music that could be timeless, yet influenced from current styles like future bass and trap. It was very tedious, as I wrote four completely different songs to the same vocal track but it's a song very close to my heart… it's about promising yourself to your partner whilst being apart – in my case, being on tour."

-Promises' follows Johnny Third's recent singles -Only I Could' and -Quick Love', which have amassed over 145,000 and 147,000 online plays respectively, and inspired countless fan-made YouTube videos over the last few months.
