JTR Ride

Former X Factor finalists, JTR are ready to unleash their pop smash on Australian radio this week.

Ride has skyrocketed into the iTunes chart already sitting at number 48 in Australia and a number 2 position in Sweden in less than 24 hours of being released with no radio play or promo support. The boys credit their loyal fan base and their drive through social media channels for the phenomenal response to their debut release.

JTR are Swedish brothers John, Tom and Robin. The boys, who are now based in Brisbane have taken the past few months to work on their debut album, Touchdown with -Ride' being the first offering that they will release independently.

-Ride' was co-written by JTR and is an upbeat, summer, feel good single that not only showcases the boys' vocal talents but also highlights their artistic abilities with all three brothers writing, producing and playing on the record.

--The song is about making a journey, you might not know where you are going to end up, but you are free and it feels good. Says Robin.

Tom describes the song as -that feeling you have on your first date! It's about fun, adventure, joy, anticipation and excitement.'

JTR are no strangers to the music industry, their mother is a successful songwriter and their stepfather an industry executive that discovered and developed The Veronicas who also play a cameo role in the -Ride' video clip.

-Growing up in a musical family has definitely given us insight to the music industry. We know the challenges and how hard we need to work to be successful. Says John.

JTR will embark on a national tour, kicking off on the 15th of March with their album -Touchdown' slated for release on 7th of March, 2014.
