-Fireproof' is the first radio single and title track from Katie O'Donnell's debut EP. Featuring seven original songs, Katie wrote the lyrics and melody for six of these including this new single. -Fireproof' holds a double meaning for Katie, reminding her not only of the fact that no one is fireproof but also acting as a personal mantra for strength and self-belief in times of adversity. (Although confined to an electric wheelchair with muscular dystrophy, Katie is adamant she wants her music to speak for itself).

The young West Australian has been singing and performing since she was 12 years old and is a founding member of the Variety Youth Choir for the past 13 years. Katie has performed across Western Australia, Brisbane, Sydney, London, Chicago and New Zealand. The 2011 WA Young Australian Of The Year awards state finalist listened to anything and everything growing up but over time gravitated to country. Katie's sound is a blend of country and pop - take a listen for yourself...
